FAQs

Q?Do you offer any concessions on tour prices?
A.

Yes. AustraliaCard holders and senior citizens (60+) are entitled to a 10% discount. Appropriate ID must be presented at the tour start to verify entitlement. There are also discounted rates for children, families and groups available. These will automatically be calculated at the time of booking, so that you will always get the best deal!

Q?Can I cancel my tour when it rains on the day?
A.

No. Scheduled tours go ahead rain or shine. If you don’t show up, there will be no refund. Should inclement weather conditions present a threat to personal safety, however, the tour will automatically be cancelled and monies paid will be refunded.

Q?Are the tours wheelchair accessible?
A.

With the exception of the Colonial City History Walk unfortunately not. The rocky nature of the land and the bridge access do require a fair amount of stairs to be used. However, I would be more than happy to provide you with a custom tailored tour option or alternative suggestions. So, please, do contact me with your special assistance enquiries.

Q?Are the tours child friendly?
A.

Despite the sometimes rough events and harsh living conditions in historical times, there is nothing untoward included in the tour commentary that would be unsuitable for children. Whether children would be delighted at the prospect of a 2-hour history walk is a different issue, though.

Q?What do I need to wear and bring along?
A.

Definitely wear comfortable shoes! High heels or thongs are not advisable at all. Walking surfaces may be uneven or slippery.
You should also wear a hat (wide brimmed ones are best as they cover your ears and neck as well) and a long sleeves shirt (or at least sunscreen SPF30+). On one of the rare rainy days, bring a light rain jacket or umbrella along. A bottle of water is always a good idea, especially for the 3-hour Bridge Explorer Experience.
And don’t forget to bring your camera!!!
